Peak Services · KnockBot Pro — Level 1 Door-to-Door Training
KnockBot Pro · Level 1 · Internal Training

Learn to knock the cold door.

This is where new Peak Services Pros build the muscle. Practice live against Lisa Martinez — our AI homeowner — until opening, discovering, and booking the appointment is second nature. Then score yourself on the Level 1 card.

The practice bot is access-word protected — ask your trainer if you don't have it.
Start here

How to use the bot

Five steps. The whole rep should take about 5–8 minutes. Do it every day until it feels easy.

1

Read the door

Skim Meet Lisa below so you know who's answering. Don't memorize it — just know the situation.

2

Knock

Tap the green orb, enter the access word, and the call starts. You own the opening — Lisa just says "hi."

3

Run the flow

Open → build trust → discover → create value → handle the objection → ask for the appointment → book → collect info → confirm.

4

End & get coached

When you're done, say "End Simulation." The bot switches to Coach Mode and grades your rep.

5

Score it

Fill out the Level 1 Scorecard at the bottom with your trainer. 80+ with a booked appointment = advance.

Know who's answering

Meet Lisa Martinez

She's the same homeowner every time — a real Level 1 door. A good opportunity hiding behind a normal amount of resistance. Your job is to earn your way in.

37 · Henderson (Cadence) Married to Daniel 2 young kids Family dog New build · ~6 mo in Works partly from home

Brand-new home, but the backyard is bare dirt. She and Daniel know they want to finish it — turf, pavers, plants, maybe lighting and a seating area — but they're stuck in decision paralysis. Every conversation ends with "we'll figure it out," then nothing happens. That's exactly why your knock is relevant… she just doesn't know it yet.

"Uh, hi… can I help you?"
Her first line, every time — then she waits. She won't offer her name, mention the backyard, or bring up landscaping. You own the opening.
Don't ask "Are you the decision-maker?" — it makes her uncomfortable. Instead: "Would Daniel want to be part of the design?" She'll happily tell you he's usually home after 5:30.

What she secretly wants (uncover it)

  • Somewhere the kids can actually play
  • Stop the dog tracking dirt into the house
  • The house to finally feel finished
  • Somewhere to entertain friends & family
  • Someone to just help them decide the layout

Listen for these buying signals

  • "So you guys do the design too?"
  • "How long does something like that take?"
  • "Would my husband need to be there?"
  • "So the estimate is actually free?"
  • "When do you guys usually come out?"

She warms up when you…

  • Sound relaxed and give a quick reason for knocking
  • Respect that she's busy (it's ~6pm, making dinner)
  • Ask about her family and actually listen
  • Connect it back to something she said
  • Explain simply and don't pressure her

She shuts down when you…

  • Launch into a long pitch or talk too fast
  • Interrupt or don't answer her questions
  • Use fake friendliness or say her name constantly
  • Try to close immediately or make claims you can't back
  • Pretend to know her neighbors
Expect one soft objection — something like "we're about to eat," "we haven't figured out what we want," "I'd have to talk to Daniel," or "is this a sales appointment?" It's not there to beat you. It's there to see if you can navigate a normal homeowner and still ask for the appointment. If you have a great chat but never ask — that's a fail.
